So, I thought I would pose this question to my readers. Especially because you guys are a huge reason I’ve been keeping this up, even after I’ve been employed.
As you know, I’ve been really hesitant to blog about my job. I don’t want to get trouble and anything else I blog about seems false and doesn’t really apply to my subject.
And then, I had an idea. It was inspired by one of my faithful readers and followers on Twitter.
….okay, I can’t embed the tweet for some reason, but the comment was from Lady J. Wanderlust over on Twitter (check out her blog here) And she said how cool it was that I’m now “Lady Employed,” representing a new demographic.
A few weeks later…light bulb!
And I came up with these new blog ideas:
-Invite women (or invite to women guest post) who run their own business, consulting work, started a business on the side, make money blogging, generate passive income, have an Etsy shop, etc., to talk about their experiences and give advice on how the rest of us can generate income and grow a business as well.
– Tips on where you can find free stuff for your blog to review, blog communities that help promote your work, affiliate programs, etc. Most exclusive to female bloggers, but some non gender specific (for my male readers!)
– Where you can find free stuff and contests to enter (really, I’m obsessed with these things and I’ve gotten pretty good at it and I’d love to share this with you)
As well as my usual humorous self on top of all of this.
So, what do you think? Would this interest you or would I lose you as a reader? And be honest!
