We are officially in the gift-giving season! With COVID-19, there is an increase in online shopping. In fact, a recent study shows a 21% increase compared to previous years.
So, if you want to shop online, but also shop for a good cause, I’m here to tell you a little bit about Novica.com. Novica was started in 1999 with the worldwide artisan in mind. Basically, they cut out the middle-man and allow you to support artists from all the way around the globe. Another great thing about using Novica is you can shop based upon the cause you want to support, such as empowering women, caring for children, and more.
With store credit, I was excited to select a few of their items to review and can’t wait to tell you about it.
Handmade Island Blossoms Face Masks from Bali
These handmade masks depict the tropical life of Bali. They loop easily around the ears and comortably covered my face. They are double-layered and are washable, which is always a perk.
Another wonderful thing about these masks is that they came with a cute little carrying bag too:
I love wearing masks that show off color and personality. I actually wear N95 masks underneath and these masks go over it perfectly.
With 2020 being the year of the mask, these would make a great gift to give to a friend, coworker, neighbor, or family member who wants a little more personality in the masks they wear.
You can purchase these on Novica.com for $25.99. Buy now.
Hurraw Lip Trio Lip Balm
Next up, the Hurraw! lip trio. What I loved about these lip balms is how well it was packaged. This can be easily given to someone as a gift.
I love the shape of the lip balm because they are more flat, than round, which means the lip balm won’t roll off the table or something. I didn’t experience any problems with these lip balms in terms of skin problems either, which is HUGE to me, because my lip skin is really sensitive. They also have a touch of flavor too, which is always a nice little surprise.
Right now, you can get your lip balm trio for only $15.00 at Novica. These would make a great stocking stuffer! Buy now.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I love what Novica has to offer and the good causes they support. I love the idea of supporting artisans around the world, and it’s a great way to find unique gifts. I highly recommend using them for your online shopping.
I would recommend though paying close attention to shipping times, especially because these items actually do come from the country they say they do. For example, the masks I purchased took longer because they were coming from Bali! So, pay attention to shipping times if you want these items in time for the holidays. Plus, purchase sooner rather than later.
