I’m a sucker for a grab and go treat. Something about the treat in it’s quaint wrapper that I can just toss into a lunch bag that is vastly appealing to me. Being that I’m gluten-free, I’m always really cautious of my treat choices too! So, I can’t wait to share this amazing treat that Nature’s Bakery has to offer.

I had the chance to try out a couple of different treats by them. First, their gluten-free fig bars (and then my brother had the luck to try their brownies (which are NOT gluten-free)). Nature’s Bakery started in 2010 by father and son team Dave and Richard Marson. I love their philosophy by the way, “Keep it simple, have fun, and achieve balance in life through nature, activity, nutrition, and community.” Read more about how their company started here.

They offer a variety of gluten-free fig bars – fig, raspberry, pomegranate, and blueberry. I personally loved the blueberry, it was a tasty experience and in general, I love the blueberry taste anyways. I think one thing I was so happy to see is that this was made with Smart Flour! (I have reviewed smart flour before and love their product!). PLUS this fig bar is non-gmo – something VERY important to me.

I think these fig bars are an excellent afternoon treat. The afternoon is when I get the munchies and more likely when I’d cheat and have something not that good for me. But these are one of those treats that really are a healthier alternative!

My brother tried the chocolate brownie treats. This was a good on the go snack! One of those, quick I need something to eat, grab this kind of snacks. That’s an awesome thing to have around the house, I think. One thing he liked about it was that it wasn’t overly sweet.

Overall, if you happen to come across Nature’s Sweet treats in the store, I think you should buy a box and try them for yourself. These are a great treat to have that you won’t feel guilty over! You will definitely find these in a store near you (I hope!). You can also shop online.

Be sure to also follow them on Facebook, Twitter  and Pinterest.

I received the above items in exchange for my honest review.

I started this blog in 2012 when I got let go of my first job out of college. Since then, I've continued talking about my job search experience, office politics, unemployment stories written by others, movies I've enjoyed, products I've loved, and more. This blog is about work, life, and everything else in between.
